Who can change things?

• We can ! - By informing ourselves and taking collective action.
• The Ministry of Environment, ACC and Ministry of Health by acknowledging the scale of the problems and working with communities to address the issues.
• Regional Councils by taking responsibility for the clean-up of contaminated sites.

The past cannot be changed, but actions can be taken to change the ongoing sickness, hurt and pollution created in the past.

The government, particularly the Ministry for the Environment and the Ministry of Health need to face up to the extent and nature of dioxin contamination in this country. Then all parties can act together to address the needs and reduce the threats created by dioxin contamination.
